Just like (dare say it) COD. heavy suits esp need this. I mean, there are some really low ledges that I can't jump on to and that's sort of understandable but come on! I could sit on my butt, scoot back, stand up and get over these things. |

What about the O button? This is already used to climb ladders, would it be an acceptable button if they were to implement this? |

O would be better as its already mapped to the ladder function, X would be too much like COD and were not trying to do this here. trying to not be generic. |

The button location doesn't matter since we are getting remappable controls in the future. The idea is good though. I hate taking the stairs... just let me jump! |

your basically in what juggernaughts in cod is, lots of health slow moving, not really a fast climbing a bility or jumping ability. |

Make rolling over the obstacle slower then jumping over and scouts/assault still have advantage.
Other unreal games have it so moving into a ladder lets you grab it, not requiring a button. Use O for rolling/climbing over obstacle and climb ladders by walking/jumping onto them. It makes the game for fluid with a pretty simple change, at least I assume it's simple. I haven't looked at what code this takes, seems simple at least.
Edit: I'm not a fan of cod games, but moving up and down and over stuff is an area they seem to have gotten it right. It should be the O not X though, so it gives option to climb or try to jump over with different buttons. |
