Not much to say really. Went into the game with high hopes as I do play a bit of EVE felt like that the game would require managing and such but was totally disappointed and I'll list a few reasons why
Major Problems: EVE is PC and Dust is PS3 would have been smarter to make it PC 3 seconds for a 360 turn with max sensitivity Sensitivity so low that aiming adjustments just don't happen Skills don't seem all that well described A complete lack of character customisation
Minor Problems: Resolution is too large For a game that involves huge planets to control the maps are small Not that interesting game modes Expected logistics to be weak repping and boosting to start not just a revive (Of which you aren't told how to do) AUR seems a tad pay to win
If I played more I could find more. The high expectations the more problems I see. This is merely my own opinion. |

Dust would've interfered with the EvE player base, hence a new player base was forged on the PS3. The sensitivity is highest when completely to the left, and characters are pretty customisable. Also, AUR isn't P2W, I use ISK more often than AUR. Only AUR thing that is mildly agitating is the UVT. |

I'd like to see the game on PC also, but since I have a PS3 as well, I won't complain. The exclusivity is nice. Slow turning seems endemic to console FPS games. Try playing the game with PC mouse/keyboard, it's a little more manageable. Still can't hit sh*t though!
I also entered with high expectations but it's in Beta so am giving it the benefit of the doubt, even though my current experience is a frustrating 2:1 kill ratio and am constantly being run down by players in vehicles, or killed 3 seconds after a spawn.
Would LOVE a co-op mode/PvE. |

Zoom out on the map all the way and move it around for a bit. That might be the size of the districts we will fight in later- some say they'll be even bigger.
There are many of these districts on each planet. If they would've combined all of these, it would just be a lagfest with massive load times. |

Play a little more and get close with the shotgun. I can OHK just about everyone but a heavy, they take three shots... using a militia shotgun. If anything, it's a little too strong.

Well I shot a guy from about 4-6 meters twice and shield was still above half |

sometimes not all pellets connect and the shotgun doesn't do as much damage. shotguns have ridiculous power if all pellets hit target. |

You might try upgrading weaponry and your shotgun skills, you'll get more damage and a tighter spray pattern.

There are 2 kinds off this. 1. where you simply get shield flashes no matter what 2. when you keep sprinting even though you dont want to and the realise that your magazine is bottomless but you dont do any damage. |

Most of your complaints are not about what is wrong with Dust, simply what is different. As a console FPS it's never going to be a 6,000,000 dpi mouse-off between two teams of wildly spinning cameras with guns attached. That's fine, as it has been since Halo arrived and showed people there was a way to do shooters without everything having to be Quake.
The mouse support IS undercooked at the moment, but even after fixing will probably always have dampening effects applied to it to chill the dominance of twitchy crosshair-monkeys and let the game breathe a little tactically.
Before deciding something is wrong, remind yourself that everyone is playing under the same ruleset, and play long enough that your brief shotgun experience is balanced by getting blown away by them enough to understand that they're not quite as useless as they first appear. |

Its not the FPS community because a lot of us have left for released games or have made the other 99 post about the same thing. Don't quit just go idle a little while till the next build is released like a lot of us are. Also thanks for the post hopefully the frequency of these post will help CCP understand the opinions of a new player then a player that's been here for months and bought AUR. |

Yes I am disappointed with it over all as well. I have played 12 games since this build came out other builds you couldn't keep me off it.
Looks like dust isn't the game for me the way it's heading, but I keep popping back here in the hope that things have or will change. |

If you don't like this one and play other shooters,then why are you here complaining about it instead of playing those games?
