 Projectiles from vehicle turrets don't penetrate the shield, but the splash can still hurt targets in the MCC.
 
 Also, it's REALLY fun to watch when your MCC on Manus Peak is being camped by a couple of HAVs and infantry, and you have people dropping grenades (Locus and AV) down onto everyone with a Nanohive or two to keep everyone supplied.

 I never thought of trying to toss a nade out of mcc, is the fuse long enough to make it to ground before exploding? I figured it would catch on the shield and blow up in face like a forge shot from inside mcc

 To add on to snipers it has the high ground from the start and is much easier to defend when red lined

 Mass Driver is a grenade launcher, and yes grenades can pass through. I've had people drop some on my head from the MCC before.
