Please CCP. You said something but you do the opposite. Why do you say that you want the game to be funny for "casual player" when you make a balance system where you put all the clans in one side, and full randoms in the other. That makes funny the game? Because, for me, it's so much annoying. Really, is it that hard to make a logical balance system where if you start a match with your clans or friends, you go directly to the opposite side of people who did the same? I don't know, why don't you ask to the Killzone developers? Because for me, as a "random/casual player", the game it's getting boring, and i don't want to because i like it, but i can't play with a smile in my face if 8/10 match i must play against 2,3,4 clans in the enemy team, and no one in mine. I'm not saying random players are bad players, because they aren't, there are good and bad players, the same in clans. But that balance system it's not logical if you say "funny for random players", because randoms players start with disadvantage. Yes, teamplay is the best, we all know that, but you're forcing players to make corps and join to a corp because 8/10 match are not fair at all. And i'm not saying that i have the worst part all the time, because sometimes i'm the random player that have the lucky to play with those 3 clans against full randoms, and you know what? It's not funny neither. Maybe some people feels powerfull when they own a match, but i'm get boring and kinda mad because there are people in the enemy team that can't do anything and i know they don't like it, as i don't like it. A new player with 250 000 sp can't play against something with 5 000 000, or maybe yes, he can do it, but i'm sure he can't if all the players in his team have are new o randoms players against full clans. I'm just saying, as a reques, take a look at the balance system, because it's not working, at less, it doesn't make the game funny for casual players, as you said.

Teamwork is always going to be more effective than totally uncoordinated play, that's not really a balance concern because it's an effect of player input as opposed to game mechanics.
All of that being said CCP has confirmed that they are working on the main thing you're asking for, which is an improved matchmaking system. Hopefully when the newly improved system is implemented either next build or the build after, you will see better results in your games. :)

Cheers, Cross Agreed. Please have patience that this is still a beta. If you don't like the current build, some people leave and come back when a new build is released. Just keep at it. It gets better with time, I promise. |

I can understand what he is trying to say and all but how exactly is CCP going to fix who joins where? this isn't even a game related issue tbh in all other games you have the same thing you can't balance people! my 2 cents join a corp or make a squad with randoms from local or something it's your best bet. |

1. Longer Warbarge time. Players should have time to build up a team, sort out squad leaders, ready up, etc. before the match starts. The 30 seconds we get now is insufficient. 2. Higher limit (not full teams) before starting a battle. I think at least 6 vs. 6 should be required. 3. Squad awareness - players who join as a squad should be preferentially assigned to the OPPOSITE team to any organised squads already in the match. 4. Balance check to prevent matches starting with one side having a significant numerical advantage. If there are 6 players on one team, and 5 on the other, a 4-person squad would result in an imbalance where one side has 3 players more than the other. This should force the game to wait until there's a difference of 2 or less before starting.
Obviously, this should only apply to MATCHMAKING with the INSTANT BATTLE function, and not to corp battles or other scenarios where players are actively choosing who to fight for. |
