You'd be surprised, you've no idea what any Nullsec alliance has planned, what Dust corps have planned, what CCP have planned either, i've got information on quite a few things others don't and there's nothing wrong with being prepared.
Not to mention that as far as imperfects go, i'm well aware what they are capable of and i respect their attitude in game in addition to their ability.
As for Betamax, they are by no means in Bbd with us, Jenza's welcome to share any time she likes but i just happen to trust her after several conversations, she's as straight talking as i am and she don't mess around, maybe we'll have issues in the future, who knows? The game is young and we get on.
Now SI, there's the real good one, Immobile Infantry and SI are allies, we share a special relationship with SI, much like we do with Subdreddit Gold, or TEST to those of you from EVE. |

Us eggers are a rare breed so I'll enjoy watching true mercs fighting only for the highest bidder juxtaposed against the way EVE works with the endless, and endlessly mercurial, politics. There won't be any NBDS crap on the ground so it'll be a welcome change.
Not that I ever deal with NBDS crap, I'm a one man corp that lives inside a nomadic Mercoxit rock with no affiliation to anybody in EVE. |

This is true. But I mean more that when you're on the ground if you see a red dot you shoot 'em, end of discussion. That other stuff will be worked out off the field. |

Who know's? It's too early to tell but right now you can still have Blues on the opposite side of a fleet engagement.
Take us for example, we're Blue with TEST but not the whole HBC so it's not uncommon for us to fly around their space and see blues in a fleet of neuts that we can shoot. |

Yea, but I'm wondering if it's really going to go that far? Is it even going to be feasible to tell the difference on the ground? I'm in HBC but I'm not TEST, would you really be able to tell the difference in the middle of a firefight? I'm honestly not arguing as EVE was my first MMO and this would be my second but can things like that really play in to it on the ground? People say DUST is slow but it's lightning fast compared to EVE, so I'm just wondering how much you can really tell one red dot from another. |

It's not hard to tell the difference with NBSI in EVE, even in situations you've suggested. We're got free reign to shoot you guys except under certain circumstances so yes, it's perfectly possible we could pick you out of a fleet and leave TEST alone just fine.
Fly up to VFK and i'll show you. :D
I'm sure once standings etc are put into place that it will be similar in dust. |
