You have them centered on the dot, you fire, see shield flare, and no damage? Even after you shoot them 4 times? Yea, happens at least once a match. If that happens, take cover and wait a few seconds before trying again. CCP believes it's a latency issue. |

Unrelated to whats going on, can we please make the target reticule like... bigger... or like actual cross hairs? instead of having to line up a dot, what if we have cross hairs that light up orange when it is centered
like + cross hair and than when the center is on an enemy it lights up ORANGE 8D
if you cant shoot with that than you are One BAD shot

I like the actual dot sight, its very precise. We just need higher or variable zoom to get longer ranges. I agree though the hit detection is bad. Sometimes I notice that I hit (it shows a blue field on the person I hit meaning I hit their shields) but it doesnt register damage. |

we need a bigger dot, thats transparent and this orange to be less bunched together when enemies group up. |

Good to see I'm not crazy with the no-damage hits...
At first I thought it was due to the enemy being out of range of my rifle, despite being visible.
Maybe a range indicator could be a cool dropsuit module for snipers, indicating the distance to your target and possibly giving a minor damage boost due to better railgun calibration... Or maybe that wouldn't be really useful in game. |

Or maybe that wouldn't be really useful in game. If you're lined up on a target and scoped in, you get some info on the target in the bottom-left corner of the screen. You want to check the "efficiency" stat to see how much of your damage is actually going to be applied to the target. |

I also notice that as soon as my mark has started hacking an objective my shots are doing nothing at all, not even a shield flare. But if they are hacking a supply depot or clone spawn it's perfectly fine |
