Even if I can't get in, I'm spending my Saturday evening trying to help you, I bloody well hope you are going to give suits to people stuck in the infinite queues, and not just the lucky bastards who happened to be logged in.

I get past the queue, I press ALL the dialogues. I pass the video, and the start screen
I GET A DISCONNECT DUE TO AN INTERNAL ERROR!
Now I'm 199 in the ******* queue!

Yup same here everytime i am loading character selection screen i get the internal error and kicked back to reconnect |

I had been logged on for a few hours. stepped away to start afk mining on eve, came back to help with the test, was booted after trying to restock a fitting, now i can't get back in. so sad. hope you guys at least get some valuable data from all this. :*( |

I kept getting to the character select then the system said there are server issues and it kicked me back to the queue. I just recently got past the character select and have been on the "infinite" load screen for the last 10 minutes. I'm going to continue to try all night because of the event and because I want to play. Hopefully it lets us all in at some point.
I second the notion that all players that tried to get in should be given the rewards since apparently we did stress test the servers like they asked, the server just couldn't handle the log in requests efficiently. :P
Update 3:18pm EST: I was able to log in finally and play a match but it was really funny for 2 reasons.
1. The merc quarters never showed up. I was still on a loading screen when I heard the sounds of my merc quarters and yet I was able to select a match as if blindfolded by just pressing buttons (mostly o and x). The game screen only changed after I loaded into the match.
2. Most people in the match were nothing more than floating guns, so aiming, moving, and targeting were all but impossible.
I am now back on the loading screen visually but also apparently physically in my merc quarters since I can hear the ambiance and can again select to join a battle.
I'm going to continue trying and keep updating this as I can.
Update 3:58pm EST:
After 3 matches the same problems persisted. It makes the battles impossible to fight since most of the players are nothing but floating guns and almost impossible to hit (it seems their hitbox is seriously reduced, possibly to the gun itself). Trying to select a match is done purely by memory of what keys to press in what order.
I'm going to try resetting my system and game to see if that helps. If I can actually log in again and play I'll update later.
Update 7:18pm EST
I restarted the PS3 and waited about 30 min then logged in at maybe 5. It was a world of difference. My merc quarters loaded just fine, games went well, and no more floating guns. Yay
I hope everyone had fun even with the hiccups. It was a stress test on a Beta server in an unfinished game after all. :P |

And what do you know. "QuickMatchTimeout" error...
It is infinitely sad I'm not even surprised. |

For the past 3 weeks. I've been able to play one match then get this error, always.
Not I'm fially logged in, and have an infinite loading at the select quick match screen. |

At 11:15 am Pacific time, had three cycles of waiting in the queue, getting to selecting my character, and then getting the server disconnected error message. Then made it in, first ambush match went normally (lag no worse than normal), about to start second game, wish me luck! |

After 6-7 tries, including full restarts of the PS3, I finally managed to get in a match. Once I got back to the Merc quarter, I tried to join another, and not surprisingly I got the "QuickMatchTimeout" bug.
So this event is a 1 match deal for me, I refuse to waste another hour only to get one round. |

Everyone that is whining, thats the point of a stress test. To see what goes wrong. Just report your findings to CCP and things will be fixed. There is never only "1" stress test. There will be many more to come. So keep your panties on "Bunnies" and deal with it for now. |

Stress test, yes. But this test was a disaster, as it didn't even FAIL gracefully as I'd have expected of it this late in the development (3+ years now?). |
