if possible please take away or super nerf the millitia swarm launchers i spent 800,000 isk on a tank and people started going to supply depots switching to anti armor defualt suits and started firing on my tank and destroyed it. it had 5000 shield on 6600 armor. militia weapons should not be able to destroy stuff lie that |

Perhaps one person shouldn't be able to. But a whole squad of people firing at you at once == perhaps yes. Did you just watch all this happening and think you would be invincible?

well you can only shot 2 times before you need to reload with that thing. But it still does the same damage like a standard swarm launcher. And lol you went hybrid tanking. You sir are not very smart in doing so. You shoulda had gone for a normal shield tank instead. Another thing is my CBR7 darkside with 3 damage mods does around 3500-4000 damage against armor tanks. 3 volleys from that and any armor tank is history. |

They both do the same amount of damage per missile, but the standard swarm launcher fires 4 missiles per shot vs 2 missiles for the militia swarm launcher. So the standard swarm launcher does effectively twice as much damage per shot.
The free militia swarm launcher is fine. It would probably take the majority of the other team using them to take out a good HAV. Most likely what happened in your case is at least one or two of them was using standard swarm launchers (or better) and did most of the damage. |

Ohhhh The but hurt. Here is some advice. Tanks suck right now. AV sucks but has the upper hand right now. Don't use tanks untill next build. Hopefully things will be a bit more balanced and fun by then.

I spend about 200k ISK on each of my cheap HAVs that I run, and my fitting takes at least 3 shots from a high-quality Swarm Launcher.
Obviously, you're doing it wrong. |

You guys need to put proficiency level and modules into consideration. The damage points all add up, and the fact that you have a armor tank is working against you, shield tanks are better. As for balance, i think its relatively good as of right now.

Shield tanks suck against Railguns, Forge Guns, Blasters, Lasers and Flux Grenades.
Less people think to use the relevant counters to a shield tank as AV weapons, though, so they have the advantage because they're not targeted by their weaknesses as often. |

Honestly I'm getting kinda pissed off at swarms now.
But I'd be Public Enemy No. 1 to whine sooo....
I propose that they shoot, with no lock, but if they get within a reasonable range, but not too far away, then they lock on |
