Missile turrets for tanks, both large and small, need to be looked at.
Current splash radius:
small = 2m - 2.7m large = 3m - 4m
However, after talking to several people who use tanks this splash radius has seemed to have decreased recently as it now appears that it requires a direct hit from missile to hit infantry... even with fragmented launchers. In a moving vehicle this is almost impossible.
I agree that there needs to be balance but if an infantryman walks in front of a tank I expect them to die when i shoot a large fragmented launcher at them... instead it doesnt even register a hit when the crosshair is a couple of milimeters off them.
A cheap fitted tank costs about 300k, and to be fair this is pretty ****. But even when spending significantly more ISK on a tank the same problem persists... it does not matter how good the damage is if the shots dont even hit.
I don't care what people say, if a missile explodes a few meters away from you and your only wearing assault armour its at the very least gonna leave a scratch! |

This will no longer be an issue once slow moving projectile handling is fixed, which CCP Wolfman is currently working on. You'll be able to hit targets just fine, and the splash won't matter as much. |

Amen.... tanks/hav waste of money now unless proto now. Heck large middle goes everywere now can't hit crap right infront of u. Same with small. I didn't mind loosing cheap ones fitted cheap to do some damage. but now not worth bringing out my madruger or Surya. Even protos can't get kills. |

My Large turret is 3m
Ive had a scout 20m in front of my tank take next to no damage for the large missiles, splash is nonexistant and i need a direct hit which is even more unlikely thanks to random missile spread |
