For me games are important they got me out of depressions and help me make good friends.My first console game was Cabelas outdoor adventures.My 1st fps was Star wars battlefront 2 and its still my number 1.My best gaming year was 2009 with Infamous and Uncharted 2(which alone made it my best year.) 2011 is definitly second with Killzone 3,Uncharted 3,Infamous 2, and my first gaming rig.My number 2 game is Half-life 2.I usually dont like scifi games with Half-life,Dust 514,Killzone,and Natural selection 2 the obivious exeptions.I dont really count Planetside 2 as scifi since it feels like BF3.But games from my childhood are bieng destroyed.Splinter cell was totally butchered,COD was cannibilized by its own fanbase,Battlefront 3 is canceled and there hasent been a good star wars game in years! 1313 might save them though. Medal of honor which was 99% of my childhood turned modern day. Battlefield 3 could have been so much better and EA ruined so many franchises and canceled so many good looking games. Looks like EA went from "Challenge Everything" to "Mentally Challenged". Valve is by far the best guys out there Naughty Dog is the Runner up.(Maybe Id Software) 2012 was a huge letdown. Starhawk had great multiplayer but no players,the darkness 2 sucked,Planetside 2 was no where near as good as i thought it would be,and there was almost no solid games this year. As for the good things there was Dishonored which i enjoyed,There was Hitman absolution that could have been much better but still Triple A,i got Full access to Dust 514 closed beta, AC3 felt too short and i finally expierneced doom with Doom 3 BFG edition.Thats it?Pathetic. 2013 looks to be much better with The Last of us(which alone might make it my best year),God of war ascension,New Dust build,Destiny,South park the stick of truth,Aliens Colonial Marines,Bioshock Infinite,etc. But the real games i am hoping for are Respawns secret game(They created COD then left activison,formed there own company an said they are working on a Halo killer which will be publishhed by EA which wont be a problem since its a new IP and Respawn has every say) ,Doom 4,Quake 5, Agent, and Guerilla games new ip and Sucker Punches new ip. Enough about me how have you guys been doin. |

Hah, you took the words out my mouth, except I think I've been playing games longer than you, and played more.
Bioshock, Elder Scrolls, WoW, tons of MMOs, random FPS games, etc...
Sly freaking Cooper, GTA, Gran Turismo, Resistance, Ratchet and Clank, and Mass Effect. Uncharted is my favorite game series on PS3. But, so far, my favorite game ever is a close tie between Half Life 2, including Episode 1 and 2, and 3 if it ever comes out, Zelda OOT, or Fallout 3. |

played most of those myself but ur still missing the likes of wolfenstien 3d and
doom when it was first relised i see u mentioned the re-ralease any good?
chucky egg on the spectrum need for speed on the comadore amiga, centerpide on the atari i could go on been gaming since 1987 i was about 5 when i got my first computer/console |

Minecraft keeps getting better and better.
Current server I am playing on is tricked out with the buildcraft/industrialcraft mods and is great fun.
Clockwork Empires is a coming soon pc game that looks like it will be fascinating :

The "Jack and daxter" series was and still is one of my all time favorite game series. I Also love, LOVE!!!2 The halo storyline *multyplayer is full of 10year old squeakers and is super easy. It is fun, but easy.* The announcement of Halo 4 made me fanboy all over the floor. ***SPOILER*** The ending to Halo almost made me cry. Why? Well, Master chief always wins, and dose it the most awesome way possible. I mean setting off a nuke with your hands. That's pretty ballsy. He saves the day and everybody loves him *in the game*. At the beginning of the game you learn that they make spartans our of kids. The training makes them into "super" sociopaths *correct me if i'm wrong*. So right off the bat we learn that chief is a "super" sociopath. At the beginning the lady person *cant remember her name* says she gives them something they need, Something that will help fix them and inprove them. During the story you can see that chief starts to show feelings for cortana *he has showed then through the whole series, but more so in Halo4*. Showing feelings to someone Is not easy, If not impossible, For sociopaths. That could mean The AI, Cortana, Could be what lady person was referring to to help fix them. Throughout the campang Chief shows more concern for Cortana as her illness gets worse. At one point, He stands up for her to his commanding officer. Something sociopaths would not do. This leads up all to the ending. Chief and Cortana get on the forunner ship in an attempt to blow it up. Cortana saves chief from the evil dude *forgot his name too* And chief sets off the nuke in his hands *HOLY KITTEN*. Chief opens his eyes and notices he is in a staises somewhere outside the forunner ship. Cortana saved him. In the dialog you can see that cortana has developed feelings for the Chief *possible in the earlier games she has made remarks to this aswell* As Cortana touches him for the last You can see she has feelings for him. That's when chief breaks from his anti socialness. You can start to hear emotions in his voice. He stands there in defeat watching Cortana dissapear. After Infinity rescues him you can see Chief looking out of a window. Mourning the loss of his friend. Cortana did what the lady person said she would do. She helped *fix him*. She gave him what he lacked, emotions. This game alone made me feel more feels than any other game has in ages. ***SPOILER ENDS HERE*** 2012 was a pretty dissapointing year. I hope next year we will get more games that have amazing stories that can make me feel feels. This is why i like the EVE universe. With all the stories you can play. In EVE, you can make your own.
