How does ISK work?

I've been in a game with a friend were I got a massive amounts of vehicle kill assists, turret destruction, and well allot of assists. Now i came out 1 kill 0 deaths because it was a short game and I was in a tank the whole time. I made 95K ISK or something like that, it was a day or so ago. My friend went 5 kills 7 deaths an little to no assists and he came out with 150K ISK somehow... I mean I got more assists and turret destruction thingys than he did yet he makes way more than me. It's probably something to do with the Warpoints right? Now I can't remember the outcome of that, but i'm assuming that I would have had more than him? any ideas guys? for some reason if I do "good" or at least I think I did, i make hardly anything, yet if I do so so, i make almost 200K, it's changes so much...

There is always a flat rate amount of isk paid out. Pittance I think. Then you earn money on top of that by blowing up\killing people. The more expensive their fit, the better. That's really all there is to it. From what I know, Warpoints don't effect ISK payout, only the value of what you destroy. They probably have a minor impact.

Does not work individually. Then the ISK payout goes by what place you rank on your team with War points. First place in War Points on your team gets the biggest payout from the group ISK. Then second gets the highest payout and so forth. Example: 1st gets 300k 2nd gets 290k 3rd gets 280k And so on. You could have destroyed 5 Sagaris's but if you come 5th in War Points. You will only get the 5th biggest ISK payout from your team.

There should be "time played in a match" and "win/lose" (for "win/lose" I'm not sure) variables in the formula as well.
