I haven't frozen once, worst i've had when waiting to deploy is that I can't cancel the deployment (so I can switch suits), and the AI has only ever told me to deploy once.

Especially when everyone is passing rumors about a release in Jan or Feb, which this game is not ready for well i suppose i can see where your coming from with regards to an upcoming release date, i played the planetside 2 beta and when they said nov 20th (i think) release alot of the guys i played with were like, wtf. however, remember the build we're playing is probably older than you think and the next update we get is probably all ready finished, we're always a few steps behind in a beta

The drop ships landing on the wrong spot is just a unfortunate wrong place, wrong time, and could be fixed. Freezing is a bug. The AI isn't dumb because it freezes.

It just kinda floats down and drops it, I don't think it checks what's actually under it. Just call your vehicles in a field I suppose :D
