I keep getting semi-disconnected randomly in matches and in my merc quarters
When I'm in my merc quarters fitting my loadouts, buying new gear or just waiting for other players, if it is longer than about 3 or 4 minutes something odd happens were I can't join a battle, buy items or use the text chat. I can still speak and hear out of my headset though. Only way to fix this is to restart the client.-á
While in game, if I've already played on game, odds are I'll get booted while others in my squad don't. Then I get the same problems I get when I'm still in my merc quarters. Only way I've found to fix this is to quit out of the client each game and do my fittings while in a match and not in my merc quarters. |

Going to delete the client and try a fresh install. See if that helps. I did start getting these problems when the "Get ISK or die trying" event started so it is probably something your side I'm guessing but I'll try this a fresh install anyways. |

Well day 2 after a fresh install and it still seems to be happening. Even after down time. How are you suppose to beta test a game when this keeps happening? |

Okay, I still seem to be having this bug and it seems to be happening more and more now. CCP, any idea what is going on? It is very annoying having to restart the game almost every game or have to reinstall the game everyday. |

Well the beta is becoming almost un-playable now due to this bug or whatever it is. Reinstalling the beta hasn't helped also. I would love if a Dev would give me a little more info and not the contact CCP support since it seems nothing gets done on that part. |

odd issue man, sorry you're having issues at all, especially that keep you from enjoying the beta
there are some things you may have or have not already tried: Place your PS3 in your routers DMZ using a static IP on your PS3 with your routers UPnP enabled, NAT Type also matters, see below* or Forward Ports (more work involved) Dust Ports: https://forums.dust514.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=27899&find=unread PSN Ports: http://support.us.playstation.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/2333/kw/ports http://portforward.com/ to help if you're not certain how to do this
*from your ps3 if you do a network test it will reveal a NAT Type. there are 3:
Type 1: The PS3 is sitting directly on the Internet with a public IP address. This setup doesnGÇÖt require NAT or inbound port forwarding and is used in scenarios where the PS3 is the only device wanting to use the Internet connection. This isnGÇÖt that common as most users share their Internet connection with other devices in their home.
Type 2: This is the most common and ideal type where the PS3 is sitting behind a RG that is performing NAT. The PS3 will have a private IP address which is translated to a private or public IP address by the RG.
Type 3: This usually implies you have a problem in the way the PS3 is accessing the Internet. This may be caused by a firewall or port restrictions. This isnGÇÖt ideal and will result in a sub-optimal gaming experience.

if you do have Type 3 then you're SOL |

I have type 2 and I have my router port forwarding. It has to be something CCP side because it is happening to a few other players I know besides me. |
