Not sure if bug but I think it is:
Sometimes happens:
When driving my saga at top speed I jumped out and my own LAV crushed me. I was in heavy suit everytime it happens
Might be because the system processes my location when I get out as "under LAV" |

i don't know which is worst that or spawning and having a Tank that someone else had called in land right on top of you and kill you before you can take a step.

In my experience, your position when exiting any vehicle is the direction you entered it from.
Are you jumping in from the front of the LAV when you're entering it? If so, that may be the problem. |

Hi,
I'm CCP OverRainbow, member of Dust Develop Team. Thank you for the report. We are investigating this problem. I want to clarify one thing to isolate this issue: did your LAV knock onto something(the wall, turret, etc.) when you jumped out of your LAV? It will be very helpful to us if you can provide the information to us.
Thank you |

I have had both happen. Both jumping out as i crash into an obstacle, or when i am in free space. Now that i know you exit the vehicle from the same place you enter it, i have not encountered this problem.

I'll just say one thing to alleviate this issue and the issue of being absolutely decimated unrealistically when people jump out of LAVs that you dodged.
Graphical. Animations.
Seriously. This is silly, stupid and rather annoying. Nothing more infuriating than dodging an LAV that comes flying out of no-where to run you over just to have the Heavy jump out and mow you down with a heavy machine gun at point blank range.
Instantly.

It doesn't happen to often and once i started not entering in the front, it stopped it from happening so far. |

I dont think they intend for people to use them to fly and to get on to otherwise un assessable terrain. |

Actually, CCP has released a video about their vehicles, and they love the creativity of this action. They like how we are exploring new ways to use the equipment they handed us, and seeing all the capabilities we can do with them. Just go to DUST514.com and look at their vehicle video. -Bear Azgards (PXRXO) |

the one thing I think to be buggy with vehicles is the fact they rarely show up on radar until they are running you over. when in a gun battle somewhere on the map, players often rely on their map to know whats going on around them, while engaging in gunfire with an enemy. All too often I'm engaged in a gunfight and all of a sudden i get 'crushed' and an LAV comes out of nowhere (on my screen)
I think the map needs some tweaking, allowing for a little more accuracy at a closer range.
I have noticed often enemies show on the map, and in reality are far away.
perhaps the word 'map' is not correct in this instance.. the 'radar' may be better suited to understand this |

yes I understand this, and Im not looking for a 'boosted' effect, but simply thinking logistically a vehicle on an open map such as every map on this game, should not show up sometimes AFTER they run u over...
its sad enough people call in LAVs for the sole purpose of running people over (even sadder that teams allow this to go on without taking out the LAV)
but give us a chance to jump outta the way at least ;) |

I had the same problem when I played last night. I was driving up to the objective B on Manus Peak in my LAV. After reaching there I jumped out of my LAV and it crushed me. |
