One thing I have noticed is that the colors for your squad and team are extremely similar. I find it hard to find my squad at times. If you make the squad color green instead of a different hue of blue it would help identify my squad faster. Also in the hud could we have a list of the squad members and their current status? I also have trouble getting oriented after I drop in to the battlefield. I spend too much time trying to figure out which direction my squad is. A possible solution would be to have directional arrows very small along the edges of the screen pointing in the direction of your squad members. I know it sounds like a lot of crap floating on the hud but it could also be customizable. I like playing as team but sometimes find it hard to figure out where they are

I have no problem with the color, but I understand how it could be problematic for others, and support a color change to full green.

I totally agree about the arrows pointing to your squadmates on the HUD.

I was going to suggest a color change glad i found this thread. I would however say they should tweak the color scheme to account for people who have different types of color blindness.
I think purple/yellow/black or really any color other than pale green would do since it is too close to the light blue to differentiate remember your ROY G BiV pneumonic. Also i think it might be easier if a different symbol is used for squad mates such as a circle, square or perhaps diamond. All of these visual cues would make it far easier to quickly identify your squad. |

I'm having a real hard time discerning my squad from everyone else. The squad icon color is too similar to everyone else. I can figure it out when I'm looking at a squadmates ID above their head, but I usually find myself just looking for their names on the HUD, versus an icon on the minimap. My eyesight isn't the best, and I've messed around with contrast/brightness/color/saturation everything to try and see if it made a difference and nope..
Maybe I need a new tv in my living room.. |
