I believe the OP is asking for an ETA on the Corporation History page. And the answer would be, just like the page ingame says, SOONtm.
As far as a "diploma" goes, they would need to enable decorations like they have them in Eve, that way people can "graduate" from your school and always have that decoration on their character, even if they go to another corp later. |

.. and these resumes... they show each corp you've been in? Great way to tell how lame a person is, how many corps did he have to go through before trying yours.
Otherwise, what's the point? |

Bad idea, even through numbers the best player can look horrible. For instance, you assume a player with a high K/D is just amazing. Not true at all, he could just have come across the right players at the right time, he could have just hung out with his team mates only firing when his team mates did and hid during battle. |

Yea, still don't see the point. With everything else CCP is trying to pull off, them putting any attention to this at all is almost insulting >_>
Maybe 6 months after launch when people have bearings on what's important and not - and what to expect from things, then resumes may make sense.
But if the resume isn't a list of accomplishments in battles or deeds done or earned, then get rid of it. Who cares what corps you've been in, tells me nothing about you.
also such a thing can be damning. Take the Imperfects for example: They may find it easy to get into any corp they want since they're known for crazy skills, but they're also known for being trouble makers and trolls, a big red x goes on 'em for several, damning them for simply being in a corp they may or may not interacted with. |

SoTa, it WILL be a feature to have the Corporate History publicly available, just like in Eve. Most people don't call it a resume however. A listing of the corps you have been in can tell me a lot about a player. For instance, say someone generally only spends a month in a corp, and has been in 20 or so in 2 years. That tells me that the player probably isn't going to stick around, and I should either deny their application, or if I do allow them to join, don't give them access to anything. Besides, the corporate history of any player in Dust is already visible to the Eve players. The system just hasn't been drug over to the PS3. |

Convo got too deep im drinking. SoTa is now my nemesis on the verbal battlefield.
I too agree they have far more important issues to address before they worry about how well joe nobody did and displaying it.
Very true about the imperfects. But i never let reputation move my vision of others. None have crossed me yet so. But yes people will be deceived by the resumes. You will read that they are ok players.
What you wont read is how they almost brought a war to one of their corps by running their mouths. How they showed no courage and often ran during conflict. There are vital gaps that will be missed. |

employement history decorations (donsent really help in recruiting) Certificates might actually be a good recruiting tool

VK, what I am talking about isn't the certs. Certs are awarded by the game for reaching certain skill plateaus. A decoration in Eve is something that a corporation can give out, usually in the form of a medal. You can make them public or private, just like the certs, and they transfer from one corp to the next. Cost is about 5 mil to make the decoration, and another 5 mil per each issuance. It is how Eve University denotes its' graduates for people to see that they made it through the whole program and didn't just stay for a week. |
