Has anybody managed to hack an occupied vehicle? I tried jumping on top of a LAV yesterday, but I ended up more "in" the LAV rather than "on" it. From that position, I hacked it to about 50% before the driver started moving and then I "died" (note: not "crushed").
This seems like this should be a good way to take out a ground vehicle: sneak up on it, jump on top, and hack it (forcing the people inside to come out and try to shoot you). Has anybody had any success with this? |

E3 build, it was actually good because campers would be punished and ground soldiers have a chance |

What? I played the E3 build and no one was able to hack an already-occupied vehicle. |

havent noticed this either. Even if it was possible in the E3 build good luck getting close to a fully manned sagaris. You ended up dead before you reached the tank. |

I didn't know you could hack enemy vehicles at all, that is, until today when some guy hacked the lav I was about to blow up. |

Really, you didn't know that? Or are you being sarcastic? |

Nope, I didn't know that.
I remember I read somewhere where they suggested hacking enemy lavs, but that was really all I heard about that. |

So what prevents you from hacking an occupied vehicle? Does the hack option just not show up? I thought I got an occupied vehicle hacked to 50% before I "died", but I suppose it is possible that the driver hopped out for a couple of seconds, and when he got back in, I died. |

If you're hacking a vehicle, it doesn't have a person in. Or at least doesn't have a driver, never tried hacking enemy LAVs while their driver is dumped in the gunner position trying to murder me. I tend to just shotgun him in the face instead. |
