Just that!
I can actually throw a grenade by blowing on the trigger. Try it.
I don't know about you, but my fingers are stronger than a feather and I'll really don't need my grenades going off at the slightest touch.
Please make it so that grenades only get thrown on a more pronounced press of the trigger...say half way at least. |

seconded.
I have thrown so many accidental grenades because of the overly sensitive button. It's even worse when using a sharpshooter, since your left finger has no natural place to rest that is fully clear of the NavL2.

I don't have this problem. If anything, I find I can't throw the grenade when I try.
Also, requests for enhancement go in the feedback section, and not the general forums. |

I don't feel it is that sensitive. I have not found myself accidently throwing a nade at start of match and killing half my team ( if friendly fire was here ) like I used to do a lot in socom confrontation. |

That's most likely your controller's shoulder buttons (specifically, L2) starting to become broken and a sign that you'll need to buy a new one in the near future.
The PS3 controller has two parts which seem more fragile, the shoulder buttons and the analogic sticks. After you press, click or turn them a lot, the symptoms are always the same: the shoulders become too sensitive and activate when you don't want them and the sticks start to become stuck on a certain position.

I would agree that they are too sensitive when they do work, and also they sometimes fail to even come out . I am certain that this is going to be addressed in the next build. nostradamus says 11/26/12 |

Your controller might be busted/old, I have a old controller where the R2 button is loose and no longer stiff like a new controller, and even the slightest touch activates it. Heck, just by lightly shaking the controller activates the button. It was quite annoying using it in games like MW2, cause I would always be randomly throw grenades.
If that's not the case for you, not sure what the problem is. As I don't have that problem with my newer controller on this game.
Maybe it's how you hold the controller, I use my index finger exclusively for R1 and R2, so accidental activation would only happen if I pressed the wrong button. But perhaps you have your index finger on R1 and your middle finger always placed on R2, which could explain your accidental nade throwing.

Also never had this problem.
And I use 3 different controller to play DUST, and have a 4th that I've had since a week after the PS3's release, none of which have this problem.
Pretty sure it's not the game. |
