Hope you enjoy it, it's not for everyone.. it's not even for 1/100th of gamers lol .Can be slow at first, try and hook up with a corp fast and see about grinding out higher level missions with them to help boost your starting isk funds. Some will let you fly around and salvage all their npc wrecks, which can be quite lucrative for a bit. If I wasn't taking a break from it right now, I would help you out. |

If you have a friend playing EVE Online you might want to have a look at the BUDDY Program:

You get a longer TRIAL Time (21 days) and your friend will get rewarded for it should you decide to subscribe to the game. |

You have virtually no chance of sticking with the game unless you know someone in it already who can help you out.
To that end, here's a site to get you started: http://www.eveuniversity.org/
Join a helpful corp like them and get people who know the game to set you a'right. If you try to do it alone, you will lose ships, get frustrated, and quit. |

Not really 100% true, I ran solo for the first few months and made lots of mistakes , it is just alot easier on you if you do a little research, find out what you want to do and join a corp early. |

sorry, but I am already in the trial, been playing for a few days now.
wish I had known about the buddy program before i made my account. :(
once I get the hang of things and get really going(still working on the Tutorial Agents), I'm gonna see about copying my character to Singularity for some Dust Interaction. Tyrus Armaments, Inc. shall be in business soon. :)
btw, had a nice chat with GM Unicorn today, while on my EVE character. He was pretty chill. |

Of course it's true. I didn't say that nobody ever joins without a helping hand and sticks with it for months/years. I said he has very little chance of doing it himself. Either way, what's your point? EVE is a ****** game for new players. You aren't disagreeing with me, so have a coke and a smile and etc. |

So if i have done the tral a long time ago, and now that my corp , has a few longterm eve players. Can i try again for the 21 day trial and then become a member. Made a lot of bad choices the first trial and rage quit. Maybe with some support from a few buddies, will be a lot better |
