And I don't mind if they just give us iron sights, I don't really like the camera sights, the feel too disembodied. Also, I wonder where the assault rifle and red dot sight from the E3 2011 trailer are? That trailer was so sick, if DUST 514 played like that I would poop myself.

I'm kind of glad we don't have that in game, and I won't be sad to see it not included. Given they said they had a specific goal to avoid "Vietnam in Space" syndrome with their weapon design, and that AR from the trailers looks like something you could buy today, it hardly fits with what they stated. I dont care tbh. I would be just as happy with space vietnam. I like the cool, out of the box weapons, but there is a place for conventional looking sci fi weapons. I think there might be an over obssesion with being "too unconventional", where its not good enough to have a space gun shooting bullets, its gotta fire LIGHTNING! What I am saying is, its okay for there to be a mix of things. Cool, out of the ordinary stuff, and then run of the mill combat weaponry. I liked the E3 rifle, especially the holo sight, and I don't see why it can't be included for the sake of diversity.

When full customization comes, take a completely different sight. I can't wait. No need to limit someone now for what will be in the future.
