lol doubt it blasters u gotta aim with and got short range + can overheat if fired too long....missiles never had that never once seen ppl complain about blasters

I'll take the blaster deaths any day over the missile deaths.
At least I know it was usually my own fault for getting caught by the blasters. Definetly don't under estimate them they chew through you pretty quick. |

Trust, it's splash. I hit a wall and it hits people. Blasters are brilliant.. I was hoping this thread was actually a ragethread :( The amount of people I've seen Dark Cloud kill is great. |

Large Missiles have horrible spread AND small splash.
Small Missiles have small splash, and can be used effectively if you have a competent gunner.
After the nerf, Missiles need a (slight) buff, and Railguns and Blasters both still need slight buffs from their current state.
Main issue with Missiles is Large Turrets. Small Turrets are mostly ok. Not quite as good as they should be, but most of the way there. Slight radius buff on Small Missile Turrets would be nice, and returning Large Missile Turret blast radius to pre-hotfix state would be great, imo. |

Blaster would be good if that forge gunner from the otherside of the map would stop hitting me tbh
I cant count on large missiles doing that because they have random missile spread and a range cap
So now railgun is left so i can kill that forge gunner at least |

I jumped on a blaster HAV last night briefly to see and they (small ones) have a very short range ... not sure if skills can improve this, but if not they could use a range buff ... also not seen the new ranges on missiles, I did suggest this before the hotfix, but I suspect it may have been over nerfed slightly.
But hey ...let's not forget this is a 'hotfix' in the same way the repair tool was hotfixed ... they've gone over board to tip the scale the other way for a time while they use data from both scenarios to calculate that (hopefully) sweet spot of balance. |

I really hope that is what CCP is dong but none of them have ever came out and said that's their plan. I'm sure it would put quite a few players at ease if one of them just came out and confirmed that this was the plan for data collection. |

Blasters do less DPM than ARs, leave you attached to a vehicle in the open and a very easy target, they turn slowly, have half the range of an AR, and are a pain in the ass to aim (especially when the vehicle is moving).
And you say they need a nerf? Riiiiiiiight... the only turret we have that is underpowered and STILL needs a lot of skill to be SOMEWHAT effective, you say is OP.
It's people like you sir who have caused this game to degrade to this point instead of improving. "You nerfed my stuff, so you gotta do their stuff too!"
They nerfed the stuff they did for a reason. They didn't nerf other stuff because there was no reason to do so. If blasters were OP, people would have used them at least as much as missiles. The only time I saw blasters on any vehicle before the missiles were nerfed was on starter fits and on militia dropships used to learn how to fly. |
