...and it's not to the player who destroyed it... or even to the TEAM who destroyed it.
During several matches today, I've called in cheap (under 200k ISK each) Miliita tanks, and had them destroyed. Every time, I've made back SIGNIFICANTLY more than I ever did with equivalent performance and no tanks. In one instance, I brought two tanks in, got both destroyed, and made back enough to buy 3 more.
Pretty sure the ISK payout is going back to the person who called in the tank.
Also pretty sure this ISN'T working as intended. |

I have a "theory" about a hidden risk vs reward counter that might be a determining factor in isk gains.
The idea is that the more expensive fittings and vehicles you bring into battle, the better the payout is IF you also have a good WP gain during the match.
For instance, I have two main fittings. One is 20k, the other 40k. If I go into battle with the 40k suit and get 12/3, that means I lost 120k to fittings, but I end up getting 200k. If I use just the 20k suit, lets say I go 12/6 this time, I still spend 120k on fittings, but my rewards go down to about 140k giving me a gain of only 20k.
Edit: Now that I think about it, destroying vehicles only gives you WP, but not a kill unless the driver happens to be inside. So maybe it's not a good WP gain during the match, but a positive K/D ratio alongside an expensive fitting.
So even though you get a bunch of WP, these "theoretical" bonus rewards don't apply. |

You know, as mercenaries, you'd think it would be more important to make clear how we are getting paid. There really isn't a good reason not to tell us EXACTLY how it works. Technically, "gaming" the system to maximize profit is the whole point of the "lose on death" mechanic. |

they don't want to tell us because they would have to defend why. Its like my nephew saying "I dont want to admit it because i will be in trouble then" guilty is guilty
