Lag and latency need to be brought down a lot. If I'm on the 3-point map with a minimum of LAVs combined from both sides, there's still plenty of lag to go around, and I've missed a lot of shots because of it, whether it be ground pounding or trying to hit a tank with a forge gun.
The swarm launchers are still broken when it comes to dropships. There's no reason missiles carrying their own propulsion should be slower than a vehicle designed for combat in atmosphere. We use chemical rockets TODAY to escape the planet's gravity, there's no way in hell they should be useless against a dropship with a competent pilot.
If in the description of a railgun, it says the slugs are accelerated to hypersonic speeds, then why is there still travel time when I fire at anything? We're talking 5x + the speed of sound, not 600mph. There should be no perceptible travel time at these short distances (the 5-point map is smaller than MAG's Domination maps).

Your first point solves the second. I can't tell you how many times my dropship has frozen in mid air but the SL missiles are still moving... and then smacking my frozen ship. Some would say "lag switch"... but, I wouldn't think people would stoop to that level... Kan Enyone Quantify?

Kan Enyone Quantify? i think lag switches are only possible on peer-to-peer connections, since dust's host is their server i dont think someone using a lag switch would benefit from it
all vehicles cause lag in game, i agree with OP, this is a priority issue
idk why but they nerfed the railgun from the instant hits it used to have. i agree this should be brought back |

Lag switches CAN work on dedicated servers, but they'll only benefit the player using them about 50% of the time, and only if they use client-side hit detection and hitscan weapons. |

Another thing, why can't I see missiles fired from a tank coming towards me, especially if we're on opposite sides of the map? Like I put in my first post, they carry their own propulsion, and I should easily be able to see the chem/vapor trails they leave behind. |
