It is pretty unreal that missle turrets, the largest turret with the most recoil, can turn faster than a railguns which is pretty small and has a very low recoil. The speed of blasters should stay as it is, the missles should be about 15-20% slower and the railgun should be between them. |

I'd rather a skill book for each turret type to improve turn speed tbh.
we need to start diversifying turrets as in imperfects we are having designated turret users, users should be able to spec into it's use to improve performance. |

Turning speed isn't really a problem, at least not with small turrets. With those, railguns actually turn as fast as blasters. |

Turning speed is pretty much only a problem with the Large Railgun Turret. Needs a big buff to turn speed.
Large Missile Turret could maybe turn slightly slower as well, but not such a big deal on that one, imo. |

You do realise the only reason the Railgun is like that was due to whines from the "Gun game" players last build?.
CCP totally destroyed the Large Railgun, it used to be pretty much the same as the other two only a tad slower and the splash damage actually did something. Now it's literally a AV sniper rifle... |

How is it a bad thing that it's an AV sniper rifle? Why should every tank gun be really well-suited to killing every type of target? Maybe if they applied the railgun lessons to the other two weapons people wouldn't mind tanks as much. |

Maybe if they applied the railgun lessons to the other two weapons people wouldn't mind tanks as much. I think "an AV Sniper Rifle that can't track the only viable targets accurately enough to hit them even though they're the biggest things on the battlefield" would be a slightly more accurate definition.
Turning speed for Large Railgun Turrets has been over-nerfed. If you think otherwise, try hitting a fast-moving LAV with one. it's not easy. Also, try hitting ANYTHING in close-range with them. Tanks already have large enough deadzones even with fast-moving turrets. Making that worse is just asking for trouble. |
