No you can't, and no you shouldn't.
If your corporation gets a reputation, you're stuck with that rep until you leave and join/start a new one.
And your personal employment history will still have their name on it. |

Ok but what if someone wants to buy you corp? Or pay you as a partnership you should be able to add their name and with the whole rep thing it should just reset for your corp if you do change the name as a deterrent but itd still be nice to have the option |

Well EVE has "stocks". Way better than having part of your name in the corp. Oh and also, your own name in your corp name ? Makes you look a tiny bit in love of yourself  IT's generally avoided |

If someone wants to buy your corp, they want the name, and the history that goes with it.
If they want to buy the people and assets and attach their own name, they can create their own corp, recruit all your members into the new corp, and have their name. At that point, you can add a comment about the former corp being acquired, and anyone who's curious can look up the employment history of the corp members to see that they come from the disbanded corporation. Also, as Laurent mentioned, you can buy stocks in another corporation, so one player or corp can entirely own another corporation without needing to combine the two.
Alliances exist in EVE, so two corps can combine their strength while retaining their own unique identities.
There are plenty of mechanics that WILL be carrying over into DUST already. |
