I did receive 20 of his forge guns they don't look great on paper, but will get back to you tomorrow when I try them out.

Gaston asssault forge holds 6 in the chamber, not 4 Actually the Gastun's BRN-50 Forge is not an asault variant it is the same as the Kaalakiota proto stat wise it is almost the same only difference is that the charge up time is 2.1 secs vs 3.5 secs which is a lower Charge than any of the assualt variants and clip size is 6 vs 4 and max ammo is 20 vs 16

I'm not sure if i will be a fan of the system, will it really be sharing.. or will only a select few get all the goods donated by the backbone.. I would like to have both options of donating and selling. I'm all for donating some stuff , but I don't want to just hand over valuable officer weapons and proto lvl vehicles to Joe Random

I get the distinct feeling that salvage, particularly officer gear, is programmed to be given to people who primarily use weapons of a different class or even opposite class. This makes sense from a marketing perspective as it forces specialists to have to buy their gear off the market since the only way they can grind it is to cross specialize into a class that in no way shape or form benefits their alternative class. I suspect for example that the officer turrets will only be dropped by LAV or Dropship pilots who get ****-tastic scores based on this fact (On top of the fact that they'll be more rare due to cost difference then any other officer gear currently implemented), this would explain why you seldom if ever see officer gear fielded in the pre-market version of the BETA.
