 Considering the number of forge guns at this stage in the game I'm not sure how effective either of these drop ships currently are. Slightly higher base HP but lower PG/CPU. Also with the cost of drop-uplinks the mobile CRU potential is less exciting.
 
 Taking the guns off could free up space for the cloaking device. Even if the device only cloaks for 30 seconds then cools down you'd create a ship that swoops in, drops it's load then swoops out while cooling down. The cool down would also give the ship time to let new mercs spawn in.
 
 The SP and ISK cost for these ships is a lot higher then the Myron/Grim which tank better and do more damage either fitting higher quality guns or damage mods or both.
 
 These ships are way to similar and the lower tier (Myron/Grim) which preform the same roll much much better. The linier progression with the dropships doesn't work. I'd like to see them preforming a different roll like the ships of the same size class in Eve. Some of you may say "logi dropship" but with the speed/distance a dropship has to maintain to say alive I don't see how that'd work. You also already have logi-LAV and clever tankers spider tank. (Why is remote armor rep a low slot when it's a high slot in eve?)

 If EVE is any indicator it won't be able to shoot while cloaked. Also, if you read the second vehicle devblog the Prometheus is referred to as a "force recon" dropship, rather than logi, and is given the special ability to "use special cloak modules".
 
 Cloaking devices in EVE make you invisible, but stop working if you come within 5km of any object, stop you from locking targets, make you unable to lock targets after dropping cloak for a brief period, stop you from warping, and reduce your speed by 80-90%. There are "special" cloak modules that remove the last to restrictions.
 
 I wouldn't be surprised if the recon dropship is able to use these covops cloaks to move at full speed and be able to shoot/activate mods more quickly after leaving cloak.

 On tanks, Dropships, LAVs... anything. Maybe even Dropsuits.
 
 But there should be a delay after decloaking before you can shoot, so you can't just spam missiles straight from being invisible. You have to expose yourself first, THEN open fire.
 
 EDIT: Or have visual cloaking only. You can't be seen, but active scanners will mark you if you're in range, and because you're marked on the enemy's TacNet, you'll be a viable target for anyone in range.
