Played the first and second builds. Got time and trying to get into this one, but can't seem to make any more than 100k sik a match. And with how expensive gear is about 30-60% of that goes into restock.
Salvage is cool, but all the salvage I've gotten I can't really use right now.
Tips?
Also seems just as laggy in general as it was in the 2nd phase.  |

The usual "don't use what you can't afford" rule applies.
It's a bit more important this time around.
If you have AUR to spare, I'd recommend picking up at least a couple of the Militia BPOs from the marketplace. Adjusting your Starter Fits with those can give you a bit more freedom to play without losing too much ISK if you're in a one-sided battle. You might only get 60 - 80k, but it'll be pure profit. |

Just like Garrett says,dont use a custom fitting too much, keep in mind how much it costs you per suit, IF theres a triage nearby, try to hold on (when its fit to) otherwise if you belive the chances of living/getting a nanite injection are too low, use militia fittings (starter or BPO from market trough AUR).
Another thing you could do aswell (like in my case) build up your stock of your fav. suit bit by bit, even if its 1-5 fully fitted suit per match, when you feel confident enough or want to use that fit, youll be able to go into the red numbers from time to time and still have your custom suits left for whenever you want to use them. |

Lost count of how many builds we've had but this is more like 6 or 7 not third.
I think they may be still tweaking isk rewards, last I heard something wasn't working quite right, but I don't think it's too far off what it should be.
Firstly your salvage will be sellable on the market ... so there's another source of income coming Soon (no TM needed) I believe next build it's a possibility.
Secondly you shouldn't be able to afford to die loads in expensive suits unless you're running in a proper squad with logistics and revives so you don't lose the suit when you die. Current battles are really what highsec is going to be, and it should be mainly militia gear for newer players with lower rewards, your more expensive suits are ment to be saved up for to use in lowsec battles where rewards will be higher to save up for very expensive proto gear to use in nullsec battles.
That's it simplified anyway.

I was struggling at the start but now I'm rolling in the ISK...about 6.5M accumulated. I think they cranked up the payouts after the first couple weeks which helped. Problem now is that I can't spend it! All my custom fittings require too much AUR and I don't have the skills (in some areas) to use the ISK equivalents. Eventually I will be able to phase out the AUR gear. Wish there was a way to buy salvage gear...I'd be buying Thale's Sniper Rifle all day long, even at 1M a pop...that thing is pure joy. |
