I want to say its Manus Peak or the map with all the spikes and the ashes flying through the air.Any ways snipers climb up the mountain behind A from there they shoot repeatedly into A,B, and C but whats most annoying is to Assault A from C and make it up there to get picked off by a sniper behind the redline. You are exposed to snipers from the MCC but at least you can get to those...my biggest complaint about it is that its almost impossible to get an angle on those snipers, and they know that. The building at B blocks LOS to that ridge line.Firing from the opposing MCC mountain is a long shot. Firing from the road above the resupply leaves you exposed. While they are in cover. If you climb the mountain above B to get the angle. Again you are exposed.
What I propose is you move the redline on that peak back like 10 meters not much just enough to be able to shoot that basterd.Currently the jagged rocks and the lower elevation make it damn near impossible....that is if he doesnt have friends or a sniper from the MCC spawn doesnt pick you off...its just frustrating.
You can get him out of there with a missle from a Dropship turret and if you reading this and you have one please feel free to check that peak and kill that guy....friend or foe.I cant stand that cheese.
PS just a little so we can get the angle. If we are at A.
Oh like this if you agree...so if the DEVS see it they can get it fixed. |

Oh like this if you agree...so if the DEVS see it they can get it fixed. They're going to fix the graphical bug that allows you to see people through the dust and fog. I've also posted in quite a few threads at this point that CCP Wolfman and company are redoing sniper weapons so that projectile speed and drop must be compensated for, so you'll be seeing a lot less snipers. |

That was from a few days prior to what I posted. They're already working on a way to better handle projectiles anyway, since the current system leads to missiles not firing from their launchers and flying in all different directions whenever the vehicle they're mounted to makes any change to speed or direction. |

Another one of those titbits of information given to people on IRC, who just happen to be there when it is given?
That is the problem with the IRC. Great for discussions, **** poor for keeping a record everybody else can see.
That said. I hope you are wrong about that one, really wrong. Why? The dust makes it IMPOSSIBLE to see anything, I've never had a game where visual range was this bad. I see the black player figures as being my drop suit systems highlighting signatures. |
