So apparently, evenly matched teams make amazing battles, according to peoples in the Tournament. From the final match, what do the players think should be changed to make the game better overall, in terms of balance and enjoyment.
My contribution: More indoor areas, infantry only. |

Number one on my list is muti-channel voice comms that can be configured to mirror the command structure, and with down-channel PTT broadcast for officers. |

Larger facilities that have more of an infantry-only layout with key objectives only visible to infantry (none of these Comms/Biomass style buildings where you have like 3 square feet of safe zone I can't pitch a missile through a doorway/window and hit you).
High hp, low damage vehicles.
Those are the 2 on the top of my list. |

CCP needs to create an island that is based exactly between the US and EU continents (no not Iceland).
This island would house nothing but servers so everyone would experience the same good or bad connections.
It's 2012 this can be a reality! Aquaman could be the Network Admin. since he doesnt do anything else. To nerdy?

I think we need "thinner" maps, as this will provide more choke points, i think the most fun ive had in this game is when there as been at least a squad on squad action, maybe more.
looking back to the old 2 stage map there were basically only 3 ways you could go left , right or use a drop ship for its intended use and go behind enemy lines.
i liked this style of map as you had to try and clear a path with infantry of smalls you way through with a tank and gave a reel feel of a front line, and when A and B fell you had to fall back.
any way this is what i was thinking was missing the other day, the only down side i see to this is with choke points can lead to camping /sniping . |

That already exists. Pick either Flores or Corvo on the A+šores archipelago.

Sad truth is a 4 man tank/dropship core ( by this I mean profesional level tankys and pilots) join a pub match then your screwed.
No ammount of randoms will save you.
I dont know what the fix is on pub games but I'm sure everyone is clear somthing needs to change. On pub match one of our gunners walked away with 101-0 and thats just not on.
Should have speced AV ? You need cordinated AV to deal with this kinda thing and its unlikely in a pub match.

That's true, maybe the biggest problem. I remember your damn Saga just tearing us apart, none of the blue dots had any useful AV gear. |

In pup games limit the gear to advance only leave the better stuff to FW and corp battles this should fix a lot of the pub stomping plz fix comms lol |

Pub games are going to be perpetually low-inome areas, from the sound of things.
Pub stomps probably won't happen very often simply because they aren't going to bring in enough ISK. Especially if spawning a vehicle has ISK requirements for NPC contracts. You're not working for yourself, so you get billed for the setup costs and that detracts from your earnings - which are already minimal, because it's a HighSec NPC Contract.
Also, while a good, coordinated vehicle-heavy squad is tough for ALMOST any pub team to beat, I've had a handful of games where one team's been full of premade squads and their tanks/dropships, and the other is full of randoms who bring a good mix of Forge Guns and Swarms. |
