Overall simply giving them finite ammo with blaster having the most and missiles having the least would go a long way to balancing them if a small turret only had 8 12 missiles depending on what vehicle it was on would they really be so over powered? Add a resuply equipment module for tanks though
Swarms: make them fly smarter, make them faster, but take away their 90 degree turns and crazy stuff like that make them act like real world missile fast but high turn radius. Forges: why does a smaller version of a rail gun have more splash that a large rail gun? What does a forge need splash for anyway? AV grenades they should just sit on the map like mines they should go off after a certain amount of time 10 seconds if they havenGÇÖt hit a vehicle.
Gonna just make a comment on a couple of things, the others I have no interest in.
Missiles, even with ammo, that **** is broken (Coming from a Tank/Dropship Pilot), the damage is far too much, being able to OHK a Heavy isn't cool man.
Swarms, how about we keep them the same as they are? No need to **** about with them honestly, fix pathfinding and you're done.
AV Grenades, they're fine, don't fix something that isn't broken. |

First, no it doesn't. My Dropship is capable of OHKing suits with Splash damage, I'd be fine with Direct hits but it isn't cool to kill everything with little to no skill.

Then you haven't used AV Grenades since the fix have you? AV Grenades disappear after about 3 seconds when on the ground, meaning you can chuck them on the floor ready for someone charging at you or actually aim for the vehicle itself, they don't stay there anymore.

As with above, my Dropship can OHK many people with just splash damage alone, it's not good. Honestly, Missiles need to be taken back and looked at as a whole because they're OP and overused for everything

My Dropship is capable of OHKing suits with Splash damage, I'd be fine with Direct hits but it isn't cool to kill everything with little to no skill. the standard missile only got 120 spalsh damage that wont kill a standard suit so advanced/proto and damage mods, since a dropship doesnt get hit to often it dont need hp mods, of course it can ohk but everything else that has to be able to withstand blows cant be using damage mods with out risk
I run a Myron with no Damage Boosters, around 4500 Shield HP (So I have Extenders) to take damage and I'm using advanced Missile Launchers (accelerated for accuracy). We OHK many thing, if we don't kill it in the first shot, we'll kill it in the second. And that seems totally fair to you? Even playing as a Pilot, and being a gunner, I find this completely unfair and shouldn't be the case. |
