When i try to leave it under my other character the option doesn' even pop up and he isn't a director or anything, what is going on please help. |

I had this issue just the other day. Still trying to figure out the solution, but I wonder if it's anything like Eve. In EVE, you have to move into another corp, you can never be without one. This usually means if you are kicked, you end up in the default NPC corp for your faction. In transferring corps, you usually have to drop and block roles in your current corp and apply at the other corp and wait for your acceptance. Never been able to just straight up resign, but I could have missed that button. Honestly, never needed to before now.
With my character that was CEO of a corp, I had to make sure there was another person in that Corporation and then make them CEO. Don't know though if you can get back into the NPC corp. |

However, I believe there is a way to get around it. Make an alt, invite him to the corp, give him CEO status, then leave corp. I believe that works. |

Hmmm i see but to follow your theory Gunthar if you left a clan shouldn't you automatically be put into the default corp? As for your theory Kaze I tried making my alt the CEO and nothing happened, i will try again however just be sure. In all honesty i don't want to delete my clan or leave it but after the next patch i want to change my main chars faction (personally like the Gallente MQ the most at the moment) i have even transferred the funds to recreate the clan to my alt in the off chance i would end up recreating my char without appointing the alt to CEO before hand.
Thank you for the info however it was very helpful. |

Think it's still bugged, because I did pass CEO to another character, but couldn't figure out how to leave. Put in an application for another corp last night, will see if they can accept me or not.

WOW! This is the second CEO trying to leave his own corp on the forums. I wonder how many are doing this overall. So I have to ask: What made you decide to jump ship on your own corp after the 1.6M ISK investment? |

Tried to form one for some acquaintances from eve, but found out after that there was already another corp established for that purpose. The isk is inconsequential, will be deleted in a few weeks anyways. |

You brought up a good point, Gunthar; how are corps going to work after the next wipe? Surely the corps themselves can't be wiped so will the CEO remain CEO even though they will not have the skills necessary to be CEO after the wipe? |
