All vehicles in this game currently explode when all hp is gone. How come dropships aren't the same? Apart from not getting good isk from destroying vehicles, I most of the time don't get the dropship kills (referring to the people inside) cuz they have plenty of time to jump out before it hits the ground.
I would like to request an instant explosion to dropships. That way I get kills when I shoot DAT THANG outa the sky with my forge. Or at least give me the kills of the people inside but let it hit the ground. Kinda like how when LAVs explode, they kill anyone in but it keeps moving for a couple seconds.
I'm pretty sure all pilots are against this. |

As I pilot I'm for this. I posted exactly this a while ago along with another issue which has been addressed.
Instead of just blowing up when hit I'd like to see it break apart AND explode. |

I've suggested many times in the past that a pilot should not be able to eject from a ship that is 'crashing', even if the gunners/passengers still can.

I definitely agree with this post. I also wish that who ever did the most damage to a vehicle receives the kill. Alot of the times, i will by habit hit a falling derpship with my forge gun, but even that will not explode it.
If it is falling, fine, that is a different story entirely. However, if that derper is at 0 shields, and 0 armor, it should most definitely explode. |

Dropships have another layer of health under their armour.
A Forge Gun hit after the DS is already crashing CAN cause it to explode in mid-air.
The problem is that the final layer doesn't seem to carry damage over when the armour takes overkill - it only activates AFTER the vehicle is already "dead" and any excess damage is ignored. Also, I think the amount of damage this post-destruction layer takes is too high, and should be scaled back. |

Even when you shoot a dropship with a forge gun while its falling, it doesn't explode in mid air. Further more , why does it have an extra layer? No other vehicle does. I want it to explode after its armor hits 0, not after it hits the ground.
CCP I CALL FOR ANOTHER EXPLOSION TO BE ADDED TO THE GAME!!!!
