With the charge time on the breach being what it is, it is very frustrating to have the wide cross hairs to aim with. why not give the breach more accuracy at range and faster projectile speed than other forge guns? |

Breach itself is pretty much in a good place right now... There are several things about it I would like changed but all of them would make it OP. |

I had thought they were hit scan, so they are all the same? The current 300m range and listed projectile speed in background of 7000m/s would make the travel time mostly irrelevant. Less then 1/20th of a second. Lav has time to move 170cm from barrel to impact at max range if perpendicular at top speed. Lag could let it move 17m from where it should be at 200ms ping, would have to be below 20ms ping before travel time made a bigger difference then ping time.
A small buff to breach forge would be nice, not a lot though. It's pretty good now. |

Honestly the only issue I have with the breach forge is either being not able to move, or charge time, or a combo of both. Forces you to stand in one spot and takes longer to charge while doing so...But on the other hand..... It does do a lot more damage. |

I've mostly only used the assault variant. I know that breach does about 1k more damage than the assault but is there any other pros to using it over the assault? from what I can tell from stats... You do more damage with assault variant since you can land 2 shots with it before a breach can land one. |

I think maybe if it allowed moving while charged, but drained the charge while doing so, it would be useful. So if you have it charged and walk 3 seconds, it will be charged again in 3 seconds. So you can charge in cover, then move around corner, wait a second or two and fire.
Or make it like the large rail, first shot takes longer then it fires rapidly(compared to now, still few seconds to charge) unless you move. |

PRO TIP: Try using the breach forge gun while surfing on top of a Dropship. |

I prefer the breach, or the standard for derpship fighting. Derpships can be pretty sporadic, especially with the lag spikes that occurs when hunting them.
The Breach plays its roll perfectly. A 1 hitter. You hit a derpship with it, before he knows your there, and he crashes. You shouldn't be able to move with it, it is just far too powerful, especially with damage mods. 18% of 3.5k(prototype) adds up. Not to mention Forge Gun Proficiency.
I think as far as weapon roles go, the forge gun really lucked out. I think each gun has a niche, and i use all three of them in my AA efforts. I think they fit their niche nicely, and wouldn't ask for many changes, aside from: better hit detection on players. |
