So, I haven't been playing for very long and I was wondering about how eve is integrated with dust 514 so far in the beta or even if it is. I have a buddy who plays eve and I didn't know if we could interact in any way yet. I know he can't transfer me ISK, but is there anything else.
Another question I have is, is there another way to join a game other than the instant battle? Like what about the ship in the preview where is says you can form squads, chat and more before the battle begins.
With this being said, is there any way at all that me and my roommate, who is also on the beta, can play together?

Contact List and persistent squads (parties) are in, so you and your friend can play together to your heart's content. The War Barge is still just an extension of the "lobby" concept at the moment, and EVE integration is still fairly limited, with ISK transfers being restricted thanks to EVE players on Singularity being able to create ISK out of thin air. |

1. Press "select"
2. Use d-pad left to make sure you have the list with "notifications" at the top.
3. Use d-pad down until you reach "Squad"
4. D-pad right and press X on "create squad"

Thank you both for the information! However is the War Barge available in the Beta? I joined an instant game and got to be in a barge for a split second, but that wa all. |

if you do a corp battle then 8 minuets prior to the fight you have accuse to the war barge briefing room. |

Alright, I gotcha. What if I can't find find my friend when searching for his name, like his name doesn't come up.  |
