So i enter into a ambush map with some friends, i head to the top northern area of the map to get a clear area drop down my tank. Everything is fine.
OH BUT WAIT, YOU'RE NOW STUCK ON FLAT LAND. YOU CA'NT MOVE AT ALL. No this is not the strafing glitch. it literally glued me to the ******* ground, and would not let me move. my tank was five feet from me. FIVE ******* FEET. But the game has to take one TWO STEPS FURTHER. The game decided it should kill me next via a falling death. But i wasn't falling, I didn't even hear that falling noise when you get stuck in an area where you can't touch the ground.
Next, I spawn on the OTHER SIDE OF THE MAP. And after that, my tank gets destroyed by a drop ship.

I WANT MY GUNNLOGI BACK.
1 million isk tank GONE IN 15 SECONDS.
there are not enough tables to flip to vent my rage. |

And yet, it's situations like these that make Dust so much more then other FPS.
Sorry to hear bout your bad luck, I've lost 200k suits often a time from the ground all of a sudden putting magnets on my feet and holding me down. |

Were this not a beta test, this would be petitionable. I have not even heard of BS losses like this getting reimbursed. If it does, please do say something. |

It's a game mechanic issue, karma has nothing to do with it.
If you sink SP into vehicles, ant that takes a couple million, you drive vehicles no matter what map you play. |

Joke, though it is my personal opinion that dropping tanks into ambush is a douche bag thing to do, mechanics allow it, so whatever. |

Maybe so. My vehicles guy is never squad commander because of those mechanics, and does not get to choose the maps. When I land in said map, I can run in a starter assault fit or call in a proto vehicle. The choice isn't hard to make.

Try having the RDV smash into the centre building on Ashland whilst carrying your tank and having to wait for it to decide to drop it.
I had to wait like 5-10mins once. If I hadn't of realised it was there I'd of thought it'd been glitched and I lost it. Fortunately it decided to drop it in the middle once the RDV vanished, but it was miles from where I'd called it in. |

The first Gunnlogi i ever bought (just a few days ago), i call it in eager to try out my new toy, i see the RDV dropping it, i gleefully get in the tank and the game craps out on me. A message appears saying there's an internal error and i'll be disconnected.
So when i logged in the next time, my first Gunnlogi was gone.
Didn't phase me though, it's a bit of a bummer but **** happens. |

Damn Zekain. You seem to be getting screwed over consistently. Also, sorry my corp guy took your tank for a joyride the other day. Although, it is a nice tank. We racked up kills with it before h accidently went into the red line. I do apologize, but this is how the game is. |

I lost a lot of gunlogis to hard freezes. Get over it bro. Just grind the ISK back and buy another one. And when bringing a vehicle to a pub match one should be prepared to loose it. |

I was leading this squad when it happened and it was BS. We ended up doing well in that match but the vehicle drops are getting crazy. I know his problem was being stuck but this also happens when the RDV flies in circles like an insect at night around a light. I guess that leads me to my real question. Will there be insurance for vehicles like in EVE? You may not get your Mil back but 500k would take the edge off. |

While i dont mind Insurance on DUST vehicles....IF the reason to suggest it is beacause/comes from its existance on EVE, then (IMO) You have to pay for such insurance, and have the different insurance levels, only the best insurance gets you 1/2 (or slightly more, cant remember) back of your ship(T1 Ships to be abit more precise) on EVE...dont know how this would be brought on DUST tough. |

There's a simple hack to get you HAV back ... press the PS button and hold it for a couple of seconds ... then on the d-pad press up, down, left, right, down ... then press X

Rather than raging about it ... why not do something constructive and bug report it ... otherwise come back after release ! |

That sounds bad. I think I have one that is a bit worst.
Join a match that is almost up(enemy MCC only had a few bars left and we have two of the 3 points)
So I figure I will call in my viper and practice a bit. Just as my viper gets to me, the match suddenly ends and I don't getmy dropship back. Needless to say...i was a bit angry.
Another drop ship incident(this time my fault, but I'm only sharing because I found it to be funny)I spend the whole match learning how to fly, only to lose control 3 secs before the match ends and crash into a building.
You could see my burning ship in the final scene for half a sec...it was sad...and funny. |

We talking about the horrible DUST monster that feeds on pricey vehicles...
Well kids here is a short story about a 500,000 isk Myron that was devoured by said beast. Me and my lone gunner, usually only have one gunner, call in a DS when we first arrive on battle. The battle was already triple capped by the enemy but seeing how thematch did just start figured it wasn't worth leaving and that we still had a fighting chance.
We make our first pass over A, coming form that spawn, make a few kills, brush off a forge blast and make a loop. Do this enough times to get more AVs on the field, man how people hate DSs!
So there I am with a lone gunner making passes over their lone obj. C, making wider loops to out pace the swarms and forges. Go to make another loop that takes me under enemies MCC threw redline round that big mountain and out again. Have done this countless times in countless matches but this time DUST monster uses his secret weapon...LAG!
There I was, and my gunner, frozen in MID-AIR and anyone that has flown a DS knows that these freezes mean death. But I wasn't near the battle, no I was in the Redline frozen for more then 7 seconds, and when my game finally catches up, the counter is expired and my dropship explodes With me and gunner still inside, sad thing was I froze right at the threshold where I would of been in bounds! |
