This thread started discussing the AUR proto light damage mod missing ... but read on ...
There's AUR versions of every other from basic sidearm through to complex heavy but the complex light is the only one missing.
Please don't forget to include this :-)

I'm relatively sure the complex AUR light damage mods with the lower CPU/PG requirements were taken out, along with a lot of the other complex AUR mods with only enhanced CPU/PG needs.
It has a pay to win element to it as there are certain fits you can only squeeze in with AUR mods, which is why I assume they took them out. Not sure why they didn't remove every weapon/module that was like that, though. |

Personally, I'd love it if all Prototype level AURUM assets were removed, but there are those who would protests, and this is after all a service they need to make money off of in order to keep running it. |

Dont pull that statement, this is going to be a non pay to win game, you sir are just wanting them go pay to win because they took your precious guns away :P |

Well considering those Aur complex mods required level 5 to get. idk, are they over powered or pay to win, guess they could be taken that way. But, if the game doesn't have some pay to win elements, they won't make money. Thus wouldn't be able to support them game. |

I wouldn't mind if they were marginally better, but the fitting requirement cost is way too low considering how good they are. Prototype AUR weapons, that is |

To be honest I'm not asking for them to be put in or have the others removed ... I'd just like to see it balanced.
It's not right that a Heavy with Forge can use the low resource AUR proto damage mods but my swarm SMG can't have the same benefit.
Not sure I'd even use them, I just noticed it was missing from the set and figured either the set should be removed or the light one put back ... I'd be content with either outcome.
Maybe as an alternative to reduced pg etc. They could give the proto versions a lifespan ... so your 30 AUR module would be bpo for a week or a day or whatever.
Anyone see any objections to that ? Not pay to win, not overpowered (same fitting requirements as proto isk) and worth spending cash on !

All AUR guns should have the same requirements as ISK guns.... that way its a harder choice.... they should not let you fit them better or be easier to use otherwise this game is going to become p2w :U Say Aur guns did more damage but you still needed to manage your stuff to fit them, than people would actually think more carefully. |
