I'm thinking that a way to make vehicle gunners and drivers jobs harder would be to implement friendly fire. It would make them have to take into consideration there aim (DS gunners especially) instead of raining down indiscriminate death on the battlefield. And get a WP points deduction when they do hit their own team.
I'm betting alot of people would hate this as it'll make things harder for the current brand of "fire and forget" gunners and drivers who just drive around dishing out death and destruction with no thought to tactics or team mates.
I'd like to see more realism please! |

Problem is atm sometimes the guns merge into the HAV and when they fire it clips me instead because the clipping is screwed, same with the dropship
The guns should not hit the HAV or each other to begin with |

Clipping needs fixing definitely but it should also be up to the gunners to know when they're aiming at they're own HAV.

All idea about Dust 514 is... that it is a part of Eve Universe.
Eve Universe are splited to three main regions: Hisec (security status from 1.0 to 0.5) - Concord (police) try to prevent bad boys to kill rest. (Try ;) - not much resources, long lines in resaearch and manufacturing, low income from PvE. - most of trade and pleasure hubs ( - restriction for BIGEST ships
Lowsec (security status from 0.4 to 0.1 - nice piracy activity - better income from PvE, better minerals - some of ships can be build only here
Nullsec (security status 0.0 and lower ;)) - player driven station ... sectors... wars.... star wars....pew pew... mayday mayday... (ganked again) - best planets.. minerals.. PvE. - only option for you if you want BIGEST of ships there.
And that is what we waiting for.. fights in 0.0 for immortality |

It's from EvE currently, Sec referes to "security" High security , Low Security, Null Security.
1. Hisec space referes to "noobie" space, this is where you start at the begginging of your career. Cant be killed by players Lowrisk = Low rewards
2. Lowsec Basically your "goldielocks" space. You can be killed by other players but at a reputation cost (people will know you kill other players) Medium risk = Medium Reward
3. Nulsec A free for all no "security" from NPC's all player controlled. High risks = High rewards
So basically translated to DUST,
- Highsec; Low rewards, no FF & starting area.
- Low sec; Medium rewards, (maybe) FF and a higher standard of players no doubt.
- Null sec; Big rewards, FF on,Rumours of planetary conquest, free for all. Dont trust anyone.

They dont know if they aiming at my HAV they dont see the clipping screw up they see whats in front of them and not the tank so they think they are hitting the guy when the angle is that tight they are hitting me instead |
