Last build as an armor tanker despite armor tanks being **** then too i still won the majority of my tank fights with teamwork and just being a better tanker.
This build added passive dmg bonuses for turret skills giving turrets a 55% dmg bonus with the marauder skill also maxed IDK if the gunner turret skills stack with the pilot turret skills as well but turrets werent this strong last build
tank fights are ruined with proto missiles doin up to almost 4100 dmg PER SHOT against armor with all passive skills maxed + maruader skill the marauder skill is fine, that only affects marauder tanks but the turret op and proficiency skills passive bonuses need some changes
I know the EVE peeps all wanted more skills to have some reason to skill them up besides unlocking new **** but like i said what works for EVE wont always translate well to an FPS and this needs to be looked at

It should be, in my opinion, only the drivers skills. This lets people with low sp but good aim serve as great gunners while they gain sp for a different role. This helps with the new vs old player sp gap.
The skills for vehicle weapons should give a bonus about the same as infantry weapons get. Marauders used to get a +50 to all turrets. |

that should go as well IMHO mods and when weapon customization is added should add options for increased bullet damage at a drawback aka increased recoil or some **** |

I checked the passive skills. The total maxed marauder bonus is now +67%. The its not 10+15+10+20=55, its 1.1*1.15*1.1*1.2=1.6698.
The operation skill should do something different then add more damage, like the infantry version, this drops the bonus to +45.2%.
Hybrid operation could lower overheat of blaster and rails.
Large Missile operation could reduce missile spread, like the shotgun op skill. Small could increase splash radius(the splash damage needs lowered also, but that's a different topic)
Marauder bonus is needed for their role of hunting other hav, but missile turrets should only apply bonus to direct damage.
The turret operation skill could maybe increase turret turn rate, this would still be useful but tone down the damage.
This would make max +10%(and only with very high sp investment) and marauder max +32%, but retain a bonus on all the skills. |
