This post is more or less a response to Revelation 514's post. If people are so concerned with dying then why dont they simply petition CCP for shield generators. We've seen them used in EVE Online, so why cant there be field based models meant to protect the mercenaries assets and assure the corporation commanding the mercs a safe deployment zone. Maybe the shield takes damage and fails or is invincible. Just throw'n out some ideas here. Doesn't have to be perfect but something effective. |

I'm sure there's a plan to release a deployable shield because if you look at the skills list there's a skill which says 'Remote shield module' and i have as yet to find a module which needs this skill. |

I beleive the Remote Shield Module is exclusive to Vehicles atm. Not sure if there are any plans to bring them to Infantry.
On another note i beleive the reason that the MCC can be shot into and camped (the reason it's not a "Safe Spawn") is because later on (when the full game is released) the DUST 514 Corporations are going to be able to purchase and, for lack of a better term, FLY their own MCC's wherever they want. Which means there is a potential abuse in putting it on top of the enemy spawn and firing down. That's just speculation on my part as i don't know what CCP's true intention for MCC's is yet.

In eve there is a remote shirk rep like the armor rep tool we have here for infantry. That's prob what this skill is for. |

I've been able to get massive amounts of kills from standing behind objectives and killing players as they spawn with their backs turned.
This is a problem, and a major one at that. Players should be invincible for at least 5 seconds after they spawn, as this doesn't give them enough time to have any sort of advantage against other players, but still allows them to get their bearings and hide around cover if they are shot at when spawning. |

This is a no no, CCP. Give me even 2 seconds invul and I'll be jumping down every objective under attack to take advantage. Only takes that long to kill, and not all of us has a lag problem. |
