Forget sniping with sniper rifles. Skill into tanks (shield tanks) and you can snipe people in their spawn points from your spawn points using missile tanks. And you dont have to worry about being counter-sniped  !
CCP says that missiles are ok. Just do it!

And the whole point of a beta is to expose exploits like this, so abusing them is actually helping CCP in the end. |

Nah dude. Except for English snake all us tankers talk about is broken swarm mechanics. We dont say our tanks our UP except when it comes to armor tanks which really do need armor hardner modules.
And if you look at it, a good tank costs you 750K - 800K isk at the starter level and the skill points needed for that is high. It should be such that tanks ROI. If anyone can oneshot kill a tank, its a waste to skill into. |

Sniper rifles are one of the more balanced weapons in the game to me. I guess the one problem I don't enjoy is how they can see anyone on the map because of the black outline/shadow of a player that appears even through the fog.
Not to mention snipers being able to have pinpoint accuracy even from the other side of the map. |
