Normally, here on the coast of Cali, the downtime was at 4 AM. Now that the time change has occurred, the downtime this morning was at 3 AM.
Anybody know if CCP plans to adjust the DT accordingly? Many players, including me, play right up until the downtime every morning. Which also happens to be the perfect time for me to stop playing, and is a great excuse to stop. Would hate to lose that entire hour of gaming from here on out (at least until daylight savings comes back).
I suppose it all depends on whether or not CCP did the time change as well. If they are on GMT, they probably didn't... and I think I may have answered my own question. But would like confirmation  |

Yes, they're changing the DT just for you and the other people living in your country. |

Downtime is based off GMT, GMT does not change for daylight savings. So, no, it's not being adjusted. |

There is quite a few other countries that ended DST on November 4th, like Canada and Mexico (plus 6 other countries). Not to mention EU and most of Europe ended it on October 28th. |

Bummer about that, luckily I'm on EST so DT isn't until 0700, now 0600. But that does kind of suck for folks on the other pond. |

No it is not.
11:00 downtime is 11:00 downtime no matter if the clocks are 1hr forward or 1hr back. 11:00 is 11:00 no matter how you look at it.
Live with it, deal with it, adapt or die

They would have if they were affected by the time-change as well, but Iceland is one of the only European "things" to use GMT.
Oh well, I get an extra hour of whatever now that the DT is 3 AM instead of 4 AM. Maybe now I can actually get some decent sleep instead of playing this game. |

? since the start of Beta CCP has always used GMT as their time...? nothing was changed. only Your time zone, DST and i'm not sure how many places even have a DST.. although i'm sure its not the entire world, only some areas. |
