My guesses are those are new structures that can be deployed by the War Barge, a Bunker and a Way station. |

Correction the building in the background is the same exact one being lowered to be deployed, however if you observe the dip down area of engineering sense would dictate that those are areas you don't want to stand in as something opens or closes down there. |

After closer examination of a higher res picture they seem to be cargo pods.

Ehm... so many bad guesses.
It's one of the P0 (unprocessed materials from planetary interaction) being readied for transport, and/or refining. If I was to make a guess I'd say it's a basic processing facility. |

This could be inside the MCC. They did say we'd ge more rooms inside them right?
Or maybe the war brage. But ether way it looks like bomb doors almost. Like the floors could come out. Since I see what looks like a cargo container an a installation base. looks like the models from the old build. I'm guessing they will come back soon. IT'll be fun to kill people when they are sitting side saddle in a turret :P |

They look much more like mobile cru than processing facilities.
Any sort of material processing is a long way off as well as the fact that we won't be miningbrings into question how would we benefit from that? |

Outside of knowing exactly what is on the picture. I'd say it's a kind of new outpost we may end up fighting in on various maps. What i like about it is that it looks a lot more infantry oriented than what we have now...
I'm bored with too opened maps where vehicles are king. Give us some infantry maps. Where real men fights lol |

All the installations we fight on will one day serve some purpose in the EVE universe, and material processing facility fits into that perfectly.
At the moment the only purpose they serve is as places to shoot people, eventually we will be hired to defend and capture them, or even own them ourselves.
Also what kind of CRU has a pile of dirt where the clones are supposed to be? |

There's clearly some type of raw mineral or soil in the container, and one that is being lifted for transport. And there already are material processing happening _AT_THIS_VERY_MOMENT_ all over EVE, we've even fought on one biomass processing facility and one atmospheric gas collection facility.
It's easy to miss these things if you're not intimately familiar with PI in EVE. |

Isn't anybody else even curious as to why these pictures are labelled "Testers Tournament Unlock".?
Have we been told we'll get a wallpaper every week as a reward or something or is there more to it?.
I don't see why they're labelled that as there was no mention anywhere of these being unlocked by the tournament, other than the fact we're getting them every week after each round. |

It's possible these are all some of the things we'll get to test/use in the next build. I noticed they changed the file name though when you load the picture [something they corrected after their mistake of doing it on the scrambler rifle], so now there's no definitive way to tell what it is...
Nevertheless, I'm eager to see new content, test new things, have more fun. Just hopefully without the glitches. >_> |

My theory is that the 'Containers' are full of DUST514, the building blocks of life that allow for the creation hundreds of millions of clones. This 'Dust' is what we will be fighting for, to ensure whatever Faction/Corp. will always have a plentiful supply of clones.
Don't know much about EVE lore, so, like I said... It's just a theory!! |

My first thought was "deployable installation", but after someone suggested "mineral container" I looked again and I'm inclined to agree. Not just because of the stuff in the left container, but because looking again that's quite clearly on the ground, not in the war barge.
The light sources in that building aren't artificial lights, they're holes in the ceiling. You can actually see buildings outside through a couple. |
