Nanohives. Drop Uplinks. What do these have in common, except being mildly square shaped ground stickers?
Well, nothing against them as functioning equipment, but they just don't render unless you stand on them for awhile. It's bloody ridiculous having to repeatedly find the invisible ammo dispenser, or worse, where someone hid a drop uplink, and fail because the damned device won't render. |

Mm not had this problem yet. But surely the device doesn't need to render to work? The graphics are just one layer of the code, the actual function of the device another. And is it just the box that doesn't render? Because I thought it had a blue shield thing which shows up?

It works while it isn't rendered, but the problem is that without being rendered, it can't be seen or heard(they make a low humming noise). It's embarrassing being slaughtered by a squad that jumps down onto the glowing, humming pillar that your mercs can't see because magic space reasons. |

at the moment, to my understanding, they are exactly like that. on purpose. guess they too have a sig value. |

Sig value would affect how it shows up on the map. I'm talking about looking at it on the ground five meeters away from you. No decrease in sig radius makes you invisible to the eye, it's just kitteny programming. |
