Seeing the current Tourny progress and the various aspects present has been very illuminating, but to keep this post on topic I'm not going into all of that, rather I'd like to know when Alliances will be coming to the Dust 514 beta for us to test?
I've zero doubt that Alliances once enabled will have an impact on the social and political landscape of dust. So, when do we get to sink our teeth into them? |

id like to know as well my guess is this wont be done till after release when CCP can see if DUST corps really start pushin for alliances on the flip side u can be in an alliance if u join a corp thats already established within EVE

I doubt it because corps as it is are very basic
You cannot tax each players earnings which go into a corp wallet then go onto the market and buy a bunch of stuff for the corp in which you can give to players in the corp to use
They need to expand the corps 1st before they move onto alliances |

I dont get the obsession with alliances in dust. The game mechincs are different than EvE.
Are you not going to shoot at people in public matches because they are in you alliance? Are you not going to take a lucrative contract because a corp in your alliance is part of the campaign on the other side?
In EvE an alliance has purpose but in dust it has little besides the social feel good idea. |

Until we're able to conquer and hold territories, freebeers may have a point. And from what I understood or misunderstood, we won't be able to do that post release just yet.
But it doesn't hurt to prepare |

EnglishSnake has a great point. they really should expand and improve things on the corp/market level before they start focusing on alliance features. that said, I'd really enjoy some alliance features before the game comes out.
Also, Cross Atu, the way you started this thread is rather questionable. is there something you wish to say? |
