It's just a thought, I wanted to get some feedback on it before I tossed it into feedback/requests. What would you guys think about rare salvages that give you a 3-5% SP boost for the next 1 or 2 matches after you get them? Or perhaps just give you a flat 500-1000 point boost? It's not like using a skill boosts that skill anyway, so our SP system isn't exactly logical, so why not instead on getting "No Salvage", we get a small but overall helpful SP bump? People who hit the cap can have a hope of getting some SP occasionally, and it would give people something in salvage that they actually need and can use (unlike my heavy getting Eryx and Vk.0 Scout dropsuits every match). |

I have no problem with salvage as is. I think it will get better with more small but meaningful drops including faction ammo and stuff once that's introduced into the game. |

I'm sure CCP can add augmentations to the list of salvageable items, if they wanted to. +1 |

There's nothing wrong with shooting and missing - it's a part of learning. From this you can tell salvage has some interest - but no one has any concrete idea on how to improve it.
At least you tried - most of us just twiddle our thumbs and wait for jesus. |

I'm in favor of anything that raises SP accrual. People like me are going t have a VERY hard time keeping up with the skill curve under the current system. |

No worries, I was just messin' around. If you look at the VEEEERY top of the OP, you'll see this is actually a relatively old post. I thought since I posted it on a dead day it got little attention. Since so many people are on because news of the migration has come out, I thought now might be a decent time to bring it back around with a bump to see if it catches any wind or at least see what other people thought of the idea. |

Once we have the option to trade/contract your salvage will become more useful to you. |
