It would be nice if the drop pilots could press an unassigned button that sounded a jump alarm of some kind. Indicating the ship was over its drop zone. IE get out and hack that objective.

hmm, hold "X" for red light, release for green light. Sounds hard, think they can code that in? |

I like this better than a "dump six people in the red zone button" |

I like this idea a lot especially when you have drop ship with a CRU and no one gets out. I'm all for an eject button but only if the ship has landed at our near a hack-able assest and different red zone timer for DS to help prevent red line ejects. |

Found this on a thread about ejecting passengers, kind of relevant.

"lol nope I'm safe in this Dropship, watch me get all these points!" Dropship dies due to the blue dot not getting out and killing the Forge Gunner below us, woot. Look at the discussion on page 3. Incentivise jumping when the green light is triggered. You get a notification that you should jump now. If you jump during the 5 - 10 second window, you get bonus points on all your actions, and the pilot gets a commission bonus. If you DON'T jump, there's a 1 - 2 minute cooldown on the "green light" activation, during which no passengers are awarded assist points. So either you jump and get the potential for bonus points if you don't suck, or you stay and get nothing.
I still think a force eject would be better. |
