If you are in a dripshit and you get hit by swarms or a forge gun, there is some amount of destabilization that you need to work with. Same is the case with some LAVs (unless they get blown up) and infantry too!
I know as a dedicated forge gunner when missiles hit me, it destabilizes me which should be affected!
However! This is not the case with tanks. When tanks get hit with the swarms or forges they move on like nothing happened!
I just feel that there should be some kind of destabilization when a tank gets hit with a forge or swarm!

i dont think that you can put a tank upside down with a forgegun. Simple due to the fact that a tank has much more weight which keeps them on the ground. A dropship is flying in mid air and so its even affected by wind. LAV's can be pushed around by AV weapons cause they are feather light. |

How?
What do you expect? the tank to lurch to 1 side? forges do the most damage to shields which are generated on the outside of the tank and same with SL missiles they would hit the shield and sort of not really effect the tank because its on the ground and has a heavy mass so its harder to move in general, i have noticed tho when i am sea sawing on a point on a mountain if SL missiles hit me they cause my tank to tip and move but thats because im on a point and the tank isnt grounded with all track on the ground, tanks are made to withstand some punishment and so they are not effected too much so they can still GTFO
Compare it to a dropship your in the air not attached to anything |

It can be done in so many ways!
If a tank gets hit by a swarm, you can have simple turret distortion! Move the turrets around so they cant fire straight!
If a tank gets hit by a forge gun (which is essentially an EMP) distort communications or the electronic mechnisms in the tank.
I'm just saying that tanks is only element in this game that has no distortion when they are being hit! Even the installations have some amount of distortion when they get hit!
If you go by your logic that tanks are heavy, installations are heavier and should have any distortions!
Its simple physics! Newtons laws if you really need to know! |

Turret distortion? i cant see how a swarm would do that unless they can lock onto the turrets, but also then that makes a tank missile turrets do the same thing to other tanks and installations if a SL missiles can do tht
Installations dont get distortions, you noitce the hp go down and thats it |

There is EW for this. I think all of the "knock" secondary effects should be removed personally, but adding more of them to a tank is quite silly. FTR tanks DO get knocked around by the large missile turret impacting them. |

Yep, just got flipped by englishsnake's tank because he obviously can't understand the difference of blue and red triangles, and flipped me with his missiles.
I should be able to pick him up and throw him into the redzone. |

Just have a hit from swarms or a forge disable the take for about a second, It would equate to the massive shock and electrical drain on the tank from the shields reacting, not to mention the crew would probably be shaken up. |

you do realize a tank weighs about 12 tons and a heavy or "forge gunner weighs about 200 pounds
if you hit a 200 pound object that has a small large surface area with a small foot print your bound to move it.
a tank has a footprint of about 20 feet and weighs over 12 tons, you shoot it with the same missile and you're only going to scratch the paint . |

A tank should be temporarily stunned when hit by a forge gun. Not for long though, maybe just for one second. |
