First off, going into my contacts list is a chore, it takes forever. "Just hang on I'm waiting for my contacts list to load in", I'm sure many have heard this. It's quite extensive by now but still. I haven't actually timed it but I guess most of you know about this issue. I dunno why it takes such a long time, perhaps the game needs to search em all up or something, I dunno. I do however believe there should be a much faster way of doing this, its working much better in many other games.
The other thing is the total lack of any organization of my contacts. It seems to me that the list is totally random and it even seems like they keep moving up and down. Can we at least get it in alphabetical order? That shouldn't be too hard.
Another thing is the way you have to press to go through some of these menues. I press X to go into the contacts list, I choose the one I want and then I have to press O to get out of the list and then confirm again with X. Its just a very unnatural way of pressing for any PS3 veteran. O almost always means cancel or back, its not normally a button we press as we move on through menus to get stuff done. The first time I invited someone I got very confused and would have been stuck awhile if it hadn't been for my friend who'd already scratched his bushy head and found this out.
I realise that this isn't by any means a "pressing issue" (laughs shamelessly of my own pun) but it should be considered for a change before lunch. |

Totally agree with you.
Also the message sending system is quite strange for PS veterans, the amount of blank messages I send because I press X instead of Square is shockingly high!

Tho I completely support an improved contacts list I'd like to draw the thread back on topic and ask again if anyone else has faced an issue with the search command?
I'd just like to be sure it actually is a bug (not player error) before posting in the tech forum.

I delete my contact list daily and add players as i'm organizing squads. Total pain in the ass but I refuse to wait 5 minutes for my contacts to load. |
