If I could draw our attention to this postSpawn Point Campers
This subject is I think fairly important. A surrender option or a spawn point overrun rule would be a welcome addition to negate the effect of spawn points being overrun and the losing team having no choice other than to simply hit respawn until the clone reserves have been depleted. On Ambush spawn points are frequently camped by players skirting round the edge of the map who then simply sit and wait while the team is picked off, respawn at the set spawn point, and are then picked off. This I feel removes an element of fun and competition from the game as it makes the game boring and uninteresting. Spawn points being overrun however by a superior team is a good thing and does bring an element of competition and forces team work to protect the spawn point, however at the moment there is no win scenario for overrunning a spawn point or a surrender option for those being overrun.
People's views on this would be appreciated. |

in ambush, that's not spawn camping. that's bleeding tickets.
you lost all your spawn points? or they were smart and left you one out of 3? and you guys keep spawning there? yeeeeeah, they aren't doing anything wrong. your team is.
the fault is yours.
but yes, it would be nice to have some "vote to surrender 2 of 10 needed" or whatever so we wouldn't have to spend the 30 minutes redlining these nerds.
odds of them actually using it vs quitting as soon as 2 votes are thrown up to throw in the towel? probably less then 25%
most of these nerds wouldn't be smart enough to call it.

Yep the teams doing something wrong and not working together. I'm getting irritated with joining the only team where I'm the only one with a mic. The other team always seems to have more cohesion. All I'm asking for is a more involved game dynamic rather than simply blasting away at people. Controllable spawn points I think would be a good idea.
And with regards, if people are quitting because there irritated then that's there bag. I'd like a surrender option. Getting overrun is irritating but not the end of the world. It's a good game dynamic, it shouldn't go away, all I'm suggesting is that there's more order and an actual objective to being overrun rather than simply having to his respawn, die, respawn, die and so forth until the end of the match. |
